Heraeus Seminar
The program will include solicited presentations (20 min plus 10 min discussion) that cover major aspects of atmospheric water vapor and cloud research.
The presentations will outline
recent progress and report on lessons learnt from previous field and laboratory campaigns
as well as modeling studies. A major scope of the talks is to address scientific gaps and
discuss future challenges. Further, the seminar will provide
links to ongoing and future projects. Sessions will focus on
- Water vapor observations and trends
- Cirrus observations
(in-situ and remote sensing)
- Ice nucleation / Laboratory
- Theory / Modeling
Plenty of time is reserved for discussions.
A summary / wrap up session is planned for Thursday, 13 June, in the afternoon. The outcome of the meeting will be summarized in a publication.
