Task 5.1 Development of refined metrics
Objectives
The objective of this task is
Based on the results of Task 3.2 we are considering
a modified radiative forcing RF* for inhomogeneously distributed forcing
agents:
RF * = lambda / (lambda(CO2) x RF)
where RF, lambda and lambda(CO2)
are the radiative forcing of given perturbation, the associated climate
sensitivity parameter and the climate sensitivity parameter associated
with a homogeneous CO2 forcing.
Socio-economic relevance and policy implication
A refined metric may have an impact on future climate negotiations.
Discussion and conclusion
So far on preliminary studies have been made.
