{"id":1417,"date":"2021-06-17T15:41:05","date_gmt":"2021-06-17T15:41:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pa.op.dlr.de\/southtrac\/?page_id=1417"},"modified":"2021-06-17T15:55:13","modified_gmt":"2021-06-17T15:55:13","slug":"flight-strategies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.pa.op.dlr.de\/southtrac\/flight-strategies\/","title":{"rendered":"Flight Strategies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Several flight strategies have been proposed by a board of science leaders, meteorologists and other interested persons, in order to optimally address the science goals in given meteorological an operational conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Low cost TRA pattern<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Changes of cirrus properties and thermodynamic structure may be investigated in the nearby TRA (temporary reserved airspace) Allg\u00e4u with the aircraft in combination with ground-based observations (by eye or with instruments in Hohenpei\u00dfenberg or Munich). This could help understand obviously different cirrus patterns that are transported in typical meteorological situations like warm fronts or high-pressure systems towards the campaign base.
