- Last but not least: Gudmunds pictures
- The highlight today was the fantastic dinner we had in Andoya, sponsered by the Norwegian project. We really
would like to thank Jon Egill and Gudmund for this excellent evening. We also exchanged toasts and small
presents. To be honest: we got a wonderful one: a picture of a polar light shot during the time of our
Frank and Christian prepared the living room of the rocketrange for a after-dinner party which lasted till about
five in the morning, I heard the youth saying .... Somewhere on the web, you probably find pics.
- We tried hard this morning to get the Falcon into the air. Early planning meeting, quick decision making with
a compromise giving us opportunities to fly the wave structure above the mountains in the easterly flow
as well as to scan the wakes of the mountains and the jet out of the fjords. All pieces were perfect - only our
good old lady Falcon said that one of her legs got a problem. Most likely, a kind of overdue on Island. After
some work Alex found out that he had to order a new valve. Sorry for this missed chance.
