Campaign diary on 25 September 2008

After letting the Japanese TV wait for a very long time, we finally took off for the short TV flight today. Also, it was the first Falcon flight for myself in Japan and the first time to have the pleasure of the jump seat. The pleasure ended shortly after take-off as the flares did not close and we had to return to the airport. Maybe I have been praising the reliability of the Falcon too often in the past weeks. Now the Falcon is down for problem analysis, the first estimate was that it could be related to a broken relay. Quite a small thing, but hopefully not a problem for take off the day after tomorrow!
